SHAH ALAM: YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim representing the Selangor State Government will leave today for California to visit the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto.

Selangor State Government asks citizens of Selangor to pray for the health and the speedy recovery of the Sultan. Mosque and surau committees in the state have been instructed to organize the recitation of Surah Yasin and to conduct doa selamat on Thursday, 7th May; and solat haajat after the Friday prayers on 8th May at all Selangor mosques, and to continue these special prayers throughout the duration of the Sultan’s treatment.
