Shah Alam – The Pakatan Rakyat Selangor State Government will for the first time hold a public briefing on Selangor Water Industry’s Restructuring Process on 18th February (Wednesday), 11am, in the Auditorium Dewan Jubli, Bangunan SSAAS, Shah Alam. This briefing will be given by the members of the Water Review Panel of the Selangor State Government.

The briefing is being held to provide detailed explanations to the public about the restructuring efforts of the water services industry in Selangor. Its objective is to clarify the background of the restructuring process of Selangor’s water industry, provide relevant information and the direction of the State Government’s plans and actions moving forward. Public interest is stressed upon in this restructuring exercise, an element that will be raised during the briefing session.

The Selangor State Government hopes the objective of the briefing will be achieved, and that this programme will be a unique example of an open discussion hosted by the Pakatan Rakyat State Government for the sake of the people. Such a programme as this provides the space and opportunity for the State Government to continue its implementation of the “Merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor” policy. This is in line with the steadfast dedication of the Pakatan Rakyat Government’s leadership that always places the highest importance on a Welfare State.
