Abdul Khalid said the results of the team’s research had been tabled in interim and final reports.

He said, among the proposals were the need for a seperation of responsibilities between the  district officer and land administrator as well as ensuring work space for working as well as record and document storage.

“There have also been many suggestions to review existing policies besides reducing the power of the land administrators, which is why the task force has suggested training be given to personnel as well as adding staff,” he said in reply to Dato’ Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo (BN-Sungai Panjang) in this morning’s State Legislative Assembly (Dun) meeting this morning. – NOOR ALLIA KASSIM
