SHAH ALAM, Mar 11 – Bukit Antarabangsa State Assemblyman (Adun), Mohamed Azmin Ali today suggested that the state government create an integrated call centre to make it easier for the people of this state to convey their problems.

He said, this would have many benefits for the state government.

“It would benefit the state government if the call centre were to be created as not only will it be easy to get information and complaints from the people, the state government itself could increase the state’s tourism as it would make it easier for the people to get information relating to tourist destinations within the state or hotels that are available in a particular district,” he said in his speech thanking the Sultan of Selangor at the 12th Selangor State Legislative Assembly this afternoon.

He said, even though at this moment all departments and agencies had their own complpaint centres, these were not integrated.

“If we can integrate all the calls we can know the real issues faced by the people and the proper actions that can then be taken,” he said adding that this could be given focus in the state government’s future budgetary planning. – MURIZA ABDUL HAMID
